News: 360' Extreme Sports Festival Scarborough

Scarborough kicks off its plan to become the UK East Coast extreme sports capital, with the 360' Festival from 17th - 19th September. As well as being one of the UK Pro Surf Tour venues, the festival also features skating, sailing, BMX riding, and even "Extreme Golf" and the intriguing "Extreme Ironing" competition - not for the faint hearted!

Happy Birthday Plug!

Sheffield venue The Plug celebrates it's 5th birthday on Saturday 25th September, with DJ sets from Chase and Status, and with MC I.D, Tempa T, Martelo and Maverick Sabre in support. With fans the likes of Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, Annie Mac and Zane Lowe, Chase and Status are one of the brightest urban crossover acts of the moment, and a fitting birthday treat for a venue which has done so much to promote a wide variety of new music styles and artists in Sheffield.

Sigur Ros's Jonsi is releasing his new solo album "Go" and single "Animal Arithmetic", and is embarking on a UK tour in September to promote them.
