How long? After
an abscense of years, Jez and Tim aka Utah Saints are back.
Gone is the poppier edge that they used to have, but the
epic seas of euphoric keyboards are still very much present
and correct. Some of the tracks on here rock like absolute
bastards. "Power To the Beats" uses Chuck D and Metallica
to drive home some serious force. "Funky Music" features
the legendary Edwin Starr and comes with both soul and serious
rock "n" beats. As for "Sick", this is the hardest track
with Taxi Driver-esque narration and some slamming beat rocking.
On the other hand, "Love Song" is pure pumping 3am club delerium,
while "Morning Sun" is like a mellow Underworld with a Joy
Division bass-line. It is a beaut. Probably not an instant
smash hit album, this one will probably snowball into a massive
success as people hear it from their mates. Go on, get the
ball rolling.
