Sleuth Comes to sheffield

Anthony Shaffer’s classic play “Sleuth” is running at the Sheffield Lyceum Theatre from May 12th to 17th. Starring Simon MacCorkindale (best known as Casualty’s Harry Harper) and Michael Praed (Death On The Nile), this psychological masterpiece has been made into a movie twice now. Prodigy Down The Plug

The Prodigy are playing a special low key festival warm-up date at The Plug in Sheffield on Friday May 16th. This is a rare chance to see the band return to their club roots with their festival act in an intimate setting. DJ support comes from Geoff Ticehurst and Pedram with the night running from 9pm to 3am.

Evil Nine Play Urban Gorilla

The ever popular Sheffield club night “Urban Gorilla” hosts the return of Evil Nine on Friday April 25th. “Urban Gorilla” is a night of house, techno and breaks and always features such special guests. Joining Evil Nine will be Lopazz (playing a live set) and Jonny Townsend.

Valve Soundsystem Return To Sheffield

The mighty Valve Soundsystem is set to shake Sheffield Octagon on Saturday May 3rd for a huge bassquake of drum ‘n’ bass, dubstep and hip hop. Taking advantage of this powerful system will be Sub Focus, LTJ Bukem, Skream, Scratch Perverts, Lemon D, Dillinja, Tayo, Orifice Vulgatron [Foreign Beggars] and more to be announced.
